New Shit? New Shit!

I’m working on a couple of poems at the moment, about anxiety disorders and Rocket Raccoon, and making plans to perform at Word In Hand in Glebe on April 5th. Meanwhile, the new issue of Liminality has come out, including my poem Ecdysis. It’s about growing up, but not settling down.

This is a strong issue – my two favourites are Rat-Infested Ship Off the Coast of Britain by Chloe N. Clark, with its eerie and gentle rodent rhythms, and The Wheredrobe by John W. Sexton, which makes me think of the Mountain Goats lyrics and Kelly Link short stories that live close to my heart.

I travelled to Canberra with the Sibil Cysters collective recently, for the Noted Festival. I sold, like, four zines, and bought entirely too many books. Expect thoughts on those soon!
